In the age of reality television, and social media, it is easy to fall victim to comparing ourselves to what we see in the media. In doing so, sometimes, we can fall victim to comparing ourselves to others, digging a root of envy, jealousy and low self-esteem. In this book we will discuss the three types of social comparison and the consequences of each, while also learning how and why it is important to focus on ourselves.
